Directions for use:
Rinse Sea Moss thoroughly, washing away salt sand and debris from the sea using one of the following methods.
- Heat method: Soak in warm water for 20 minutes. Rinse again. Add to the pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat and allow to sit for 20 minutes. Add water in a ratio of one cup of Sea Moss to 1/4 cup of purified water. Blend until smooth and creamy or if too thick to blend add more water.
- No heat method. Soak in warm purified water between 6 to 36 hours until soft and gelatinous. Rinse again and add to blender with water in a ratio of one cup of Sea moss to one and a half to two cups of distilled or purified water. If too thick add more water and blend until smooth and creamy. if it is not soft after soaking, revert to heat method.
Refrigerate or freeze immediately after preparation. Sea Moss gel should be good for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator and up to 1 year in the freezer.
