Tasty Echinacea Tea Recipes | Herbal Goodness

Plain echinacea tea isn’t exactly tasty, and cannot be described as “the perfect cup” by any stretch of the imagination. To make a great cup of echinacea tea, you’ll need to add in other herbs to improve the flavor and ideally improve its health benefits.

Hot Ginger Echinacea Tea

This is a tea that is not only easy to prepare, you can drink and enjoy the tea for several days. You can pull this off by placing the cup of echinacea and chopped ginger in the refrigerator. Whenever you want to drink the tea, simply boil a pot of water and pour it over the cup of echinacea and chopped ginger. 

You just might come to love this tea, making it one of your favorites. To prepare and enjoy this tea, gather the below ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon echinacea
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Bowl two cups of water. Place the ginger and echinacea in a cup. Pour boiling water over the ginger and echinacea. Squeeze in lemon juice and add in the honey. 

Echinacea For Throat Relief Recipe

For this recipe, you'll need:

  • 1/4 cup of echinacea tincture
  • 2 drops of peppermint essential oil
  • 1/8 cup of water
  • 1/8 cup of honey

Blend the echinacea tincture, honey, and water. Slowly, add in drops of peppermint oil. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle. During times when your throat is irritated or you find yourself coughing a lot, spay the mixture toward the back of your throat. Label and date the mixture, using it for no longer than a week.
